The Ivy League Language School Summer Fellowships
The Ivy League Language School offers paid summer Teaching Fellowships to native speakers who are either enrolled or have graduated with a degree from an accredited 2 or 4 year-college or university,
or
Teachers/professors who are native speakers or second language speakers who have graduated with a degree in language education from an accredited 4 year-college or university.
calenderThe ILLS Teaching Fellows are essential in providing authentic real-world language lessons during our summer programming. Teaching Fellows help create language immersion lessons to correct and accelerate students reading, writing, and speaking skills. These lessons also develop students’ understanding and appreciation of culture and countries where the language is spoken. Teaching Fellows oversee and manage ILLS Interns.

The Ivy League Language School Summer Internships
The Ivy League Language School offers paid summer Internships to native language speakers who are either enrolled in high school, college, or university
or
Second language speakers who are enrolled or in a language education program from an accredited 2 or 4 year-college or university
The ILLS Interns support students and Teaching Fellows inside the classroom. Interns give each student additional one-on-one academic support assessing students’ reading, writing, listening comprehension, and speaking progress. Interns help students use class material and organize notebooks and storage areas. The ILLS Interns are also essential in providing teaching and classroom support to ILLS Fellows. This support helps achieve our summer programming mission to provide high-quality classroom and academic support.
Applicants must also meet the following qualifications:
- Availability for all training sessions, pre-program planning (middle – end of May) and the summer program (June and early August)
- GPA of at least 3.0 (If your GPA is below 3.0, we will consider your application, but we will ask for additional information.)
- Excellent organizational ability including planning, prioritizing, and time-management
- Excellent personality and interpersonal skills with the added ability to motivate students
